Thanks for being here
Breanne Jenay Benson, AMFT, APCC
Doctoral Student - Transpersonal Psychology

As a doctoral student in Transpersonal Psychology and a therapist in clinical practice, I offer a depth-oriented and integrative approach to psychotherapy that invites clients into a more authentic and embodied relationship with themselves and their lives.

My work is grounded in the understanding that beneath the protective strategies we develop to navigate stress, relationships, and past experiences, there remains an innate capacity for vitality and wholeness. Therapy becomes a space where these patterns can be understood with compassion while deeper aspects of the self begin to emerge.

My approach weaves together trauma-informed psychotherapy with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and transpersonal psychology. Drawing from modalities such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR-informed work, Psychosynthesis, and parts-based exploration, I support clients in gently integrating experiences held in both mind and body.

Many of the individuals I work with are thoughtful and reflective people navigating relational challenges, life transitions, or a subtle sense that something in life no longer feels aligned. Together we explore the patterns shaping these experiences while reconnecting with the deeper creativity, meaning, and inner steadiness that can become obscured beneath stress or earlier adaptations.

Alongside traditional therapeutic dialogue, I welcome the wisdom of the body and imagination into the process. Gentle somatic awareness, reflective inquiry, creative exploration, and mindfulness practices can support clients in reconnecting with inner resources and cultivating a more grounded sense of self.
I view therapy as a collaborative process grounded in presence, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique unfolding. My intention is to offer a space where clients feel deeply supported as they move toward greater integration, authenticity, and meaningful change.
