Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy focuses on the body’s wisdom to process and release stored emotions, trauma, and stress. Unlike traditional "top-down" therapy, which primarily focuses on cognitive or verbal processing, somatic therapy works from the "bottom-up," paying attention to physical sensations, body awareness, and movement patterns.
By tuning into the body, it helps clients connect with their feelings on a deeper level, allowing healing to unfold naturally and organically. This approach creates a safe space for individuals to reconnect with themselves, regulating their nervous system and fostering lasting emotional resilience.
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) is a heartfelt and mindful approach to healing trauma and attachment wounds. As a form of somatic therapy, SP offers a holistic framework that integrates the body, emotions, and thoughts, helping clients heal on all levels. It embraces the body as a vital source of wisdom, guiding us to access and process challenging emotional and traumatic experiences.
Breanne is trained in both Level 1 and Level 2 of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which deepens her ability to work with clients in a comprehensive and transformative way. Through SP, individuals can uncover and transform ingrained physical and psychological patterns that block their ability to thrive. It’s especially powerful in addressing the dysregulation caused by trauma and the limiting beliefs that arise from developmental challenges. At its core, SP supports clients in nurturing their strengths while gently challenging them to grow, create lasting change, and experience true well-being.
